The Obesity Group Clínica Medellin in Colombia, has handled patients from other cities and other countries with some specific recommendations, so far without any problems.

The most important recommendation is that you must remain in the city of Medellin, before traveling to your place of residence a minimum of 5 to 8 days, until the initial effects of the Gastric Balloon stabilize completely.

You should return in six months to remove the Gastric Balloon and try to get in contact in your place of residence with a fitness trainer.

Appointments with the Psychiatrist, Psycologist and the Sports Doctor can be arranged for the days of your stay in Medellín. The first appointments with the Nutritionist may also coincide with the stay in Medellin and then continue by phone or email.

The procedure can be performed after the evaluation appointment. Generally, if patients do not have a very significant pathological history or symptoms of any serious disease at the time of evaluation, it is very possible that the gastric balloon placement procedure will be performed and weight loss treatment will begin.
